'Saucy' snooker referees

    That guy in the 1980's 'John Street' I think has to have been the sourest of sour ref's on the snooker scene at the time.....'Len Ganley', John Williams and John Smyth are other 80's gems but none so contrary as Mr Street.....refer to attached clip of him putting manners on Mr A Higgins some time in the 80's.......https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=F07hiKJi6DY

    Think you are correct. John Williams is the 'bull-dog' type ref I was thinking of and who is indeed in the clip I included above
