VW Passat high pressure pump failure

    Hi,

    Just needing some advice regarding my 08 VW Passat 2.0 cr TDI 140 DSG.
    Basically a number of error messages came up on dash so left it into my local VW Indy. The High pressure fuel pump is failing (metal in fuel).
    So big money to fix new pump, injectors and a lot of labour. In region of €2k + to fix.

    Any advice on a cheaper way of getting it fixed? Or how much or were could I sell it as is and move on?
