    Hi All

We are going an extension and plan on putting in a walk in wardrobe at the end of the bedroom.

I was wondering what is the best option to fit out the walk in wardrobe that would not cost an arm and a leg.

    Thanks
    Barr

If you have patience to go to Ikea, sit down and do a plan with one of their team, then more patience to assemble it. Worked for us.

If you'd rather be patient with software than the staff, there's a design tool for IKEA's PAX range:

I used their kitchen planner when designing our kitchen. We went with someone else in the end but it was great to help determine what we did, and didn't, want in the design. The tool can be a bit laggy but once you persist with it, it's great.

I'd go Ikea for either the entire fitout or build the structure to accommodate Ikea wardrobe shelving/storage fittings so you can change the layout easily in the future for changing needs.

Thanks guys , looks like Ikea it is.

I'll give the design tool for the PAX range a go.

The size of the room has yet to be decided so should help with that :)
