looking to head away in the summer. 2 adults 2 boys 10 and 12. have been to Cambrils Park, bella Italia, castel Montgri etc. looking for something along these lines in France or other parts of Spain. Don't know if there are similar set ups in Portugal. We are open to a villa complex as well if there were activities for the boys. Like to be near a town with restaurants etc. any help would be very much appreciated

Hello, we did all the parks aswell with our boys when they were young...then started holidaying in Portugal roughly around the age yours are
We found a great hotel on the beach in Algarve called Pestana Viking near the town of Armacao do Pera
Its very quiet and not much in activities compared to the sites you are used to so bear that in mind
On the plus side though the place is spectular, great beaches, huge amount of restaurants in the nearby town which is a 15-20min walk away. Water park nearby, and big go karting tracks
We did the parks in France and found the Spanish ones better. Italy has good places in Lake Garda etc aswell if you are still keen on that type of holiday
