    hello,

I need to return an item with a rechargeable battery to the UK.
The post office refused to take it.

Would any courier accept this? Eg. DHL?

    thanks!

Nearly any courier will take it, at a premium rate.

Plenty of couriers use land transport; so most will.

Lithium cells are allowed on planes, just have to follow a procedure so you dont get a consignment of 4000 of them.

An Post only use Air service for UK whereas nearly every parcel delivery service uses road/sea.

    Your choice includes

    Nightline via parcel motel
    DPD
    Fastway via iParcel
    GLS - parcel shopa

Companies like DHL, UPS, FedEx are primarily express couriers, so unless its urgent, avoid them.

Gls may be the handiest as they have 180 parcel shops https://gls-group.eu/IE/en/occasional-shipment/parcel-shops

    Uk parcel delivery from 14.50
