Steering wheel shake

    Hello there folks !

I recently changed the alloys on my car to wheels the same size 17". I now find there is a shake on the steering at about 70kph. My mechanic said the wheels are straight, he balanced the wheels, he cant understand why this is happening.

Now, i had the NCT last week and it failed on worn front bushes left and right. Could this be the issue or have you guys any other suggestions?

    Cheers in advance

Yes, worn suspension parts can cause vibrations.
Ask your mechanic to check everything is tight and snug.

You can also switch the rear wheels to front to see if this helps. If it does there is an issue with the new rims.

I would personally look for a different garage.
