    Have a 2008 vw Jetta 1.6 petrol
    Oil pressure engine stop came up on dash
    Replaced oil sensor and oil pressure is ok but light has come back on? Anyone any ideas what else could be wrong or that this has happened to before?

    Was the car computer's diagnostic codes read?

    How do you know the oil pressure is ok, did you check with a gauge? if its ok then would suggest bad new sensor or wiring problem from sensor to the computer

    Pickup in sump may be blocked..
