Nope, full of cheap fillers! Look at Redmills Engage Duck and Rice for a similar protein/fat profile with much higher quality ingredients. I have 5 spaniels I work and use Engage with a bit of raw mince added, I get asked all the time what I feed to keep them looking so well

I just looked up the composition...
    Composition:
Whole Cereal, Meat Meal, Soya Oil, Vitamins and Minerals

One of the most bare bones lists of ingredients I have ever seen. Meat meal? The meat from what kind of animal? I would not be comfortable feeding this to my dogs. Too full of filler as well.

What's your ideal price range for a 15kg bag, vwshooter? I'm sure some of us here could suggest something of a little more sustenance!

I've heard getting the license to handle it is hard from a lot of the spaniel lads. I think BSE etc made all those regulations a lot tighter.

What sort of work are the dogs in now? I usually drop back on the feed over the summer except for the young dogs and any running tests or rabbit trials in the UK or they tend to get a bit too round!

I don't think their will be any licence for this it will be for a friend of a friend if you no what I mean.i do a lot a rough shooting two spaniels and a lab not into field trials or any of that to be honest just like to keep the dogs rite and happy

It is, I pay the same for 15 kg duck necks and run them through my own mincer.

I trial mine because I prefer the dog work to shooting to be honest!

Would you not just feed as they are ? Would duck not be more fatty.it seems to be getting a lot harder to get raw dog food at a decent price would you agree?

I find it easier to store minced - can get more in the freezer. They get whole necks 2 or 3 times a week and mince with Red mills engage or Skinners duck and rice the rest of time. Duck's more fatty but they get a fair bit of work and are in good nick so I don't worry!

Very hard to get good raw here, when I was in the UK there was far more options.
