Previously when I had a petrol and did mixed driving, I would change the oil and filter every 12 months or 15000kms. What kind of interval should I use for a diesel as explained above? Hi,

I wouldnt let it run beyond 15000 kms. Oil is cheap, engines are not and the 1.9tdi are not resilient to poor servicing

I drive a 2001 passat tdi.i change my oil every 8000 miles as I have 220 thousand miles on her now.runs great.it only cost me €25.diesel engine es need regular oil changes.
