    Hi guys

    I've just come back after a year away and I've started my TV up and it appears to start fine and then after a few seconds it powers out!! Then a few minutes later it starts up again..And then powers out!

    I've had am issue with this TV previously but that was fixed by a tech guy.

    Any suggestions please

    Model No ?

    first, take the batteries out of the remote control and switch it on at the TV.

    Still happening ? Watch the screen, How many light flashes when its switched on or when it switches off. It'll be an error sequence if its not the sticky remote.

    No Standby lights whatsoever.

    Plus the Tv out for a few minutes.

    Then plug it back in. Any Lights now?

    It'll switch itself off again anyway.

    Its called Bad Caps. Specifically those on the power supply board.

    Check the power cable if it's one of those plug in to the TV types to see that the cable is fully connected and not loose.

    It's the same .No lights and still powering on and off in a cyclical manner

    I've emailed the tech guy as he previously replaced the PSU .And I'll see what he says...I've only had the new PSU in the TV Five months before i went abroad!;;

    If it is what you say it is...Is it easily fixed! Thanks

    Thank you for your reply and power cable is fine. I definitely think it's an internal issue... Unfortunately 😑

    I took the TV to the same tech who looked at it previously and he said it was something to do with "the probe"..As if it had surge in power caused by a thunderstorm event...I'm getting it replaced as per his advice.
