    Hi Guys,

We're getting married in Cork in April next year and I have been given the task of getting the photographer.

It's not the highest priority on our list(why I'm doing it) and we want more action than posed pictures on the day.

Does anyone have any recommendations or tips?

    Many thanks!

Google "wedding photographer" in Cork, and just look through their online portfolios. Make a list of the ones you like, and then sit down together and decide which ones are in budget. Then start contacting them to see if they're available on your date.

Try and get to some wedding fairs too, meeting them in person and seeing physical examples of their work is really important. We found ours that way and I'm totally delighted with her.

Good wedding photographer's book up early so definitely a good idea to sort it out ASAP.

We really like our photographer, she came recommended by the venue and we know other couples who has used her too! She does really nice natural shots and won't interfere with the ceremony to fake poses, which is what we want! We'll do some more posed pics but we really want someone to capture us and out guests enjoying the day!

She's based in West Cork, I'll PM you her name OP!

We had Moat Hill photography for our wedding. They're not Cork-based, but they happily travelled. Although, if you say it's not a high priority, they might be a bit pricey for you. Photographs were one of our top priorities, so we were happy to pay a premium :).
