Does the grade you get from the resit take into account take into account your grades in other sections of the module, or is only the final exam counted when assessing the grade for you resit?

My problem is I got 0 out 10% in part of my module because I missed a presentation. I'm worried that means I will have to better than 40% in my resit exam to compensate for getting 0 in 10% of the module.

I am aware resit grades are capped at D-. I just want to pass the module and move on into next year. I hope this makes sense.

If I'm understanding the question right, then a resit is the final exam or essay only. You only have to worry about other assessments if you're repeating the entire module.
