Smeg are one of only a couple of manufacturers I've seen of a quality induction hob with offset/knob controls. I don't want a hob with the onset/touch sensitive controls. And I like the look of the Smeg Victoria range of appliances, and love the Smeg FQ55FX1 fridge-freezer. The appliances seem to be well reviewed, but the after-sales service is very poorly reviewed on trustpilot.

Has anyone got experience of Smeg large appliances? I'd love to hear opinions on reliability and quality of after-sales. The appliances are expensive, not as high as Miele but well up there. If there's an issue with reliability or service I'd have to rule them out. Thanks.
