    Hi folks,

My other half bought a samsung s6 on adverts about 15 months ago. It was unlocked. No problems, put the SIM in and away she went. Today the phone wouldn't pick up a signal and was asking for the SIM Network unlock pin.

Shes with tesco mob, they said contact the original service provider which we dont know. Or else contact Samsung. I think the previous provider was vodafone because there was vodafone app or two installed on the phone.

Does anyone know why the phone would suddenly start looking for this code when there was no issue for over a year?

Anyone know what best thing to do is? See if a shop in town can get the unlock code?? or see if vodafone will check the imei off their records and get unlock code?!

    Thanks
