The error in the attached picture of this Wolsey HG5 UHF aerial's installation is not a totally uncommon sight in at least some parts of the country. And it is not just DIYers, Installers from businesses with "Saorview approved sold here..." stickers have also made this mistake
Whilst the main part of the aerial is horizontally polarised  (correct for the transmitter concerned), the reflector was installed for opposite polarisation (vertical)!. - this results in a reduction of the wanted signal strength and increased possibility of pickup of interference from other directions that might affect reception.
I have seen a number of these Wolsey aerials installed this way

Hah, people mustn't realise that the black bracket part for the reflectors can turn on the boom. They used to be flat inline with the directors in the box.

I'd have expected even a novice installer to realise that there was something very wrong with how it looks in the picture...

Apart from the Aerial been put together arseways the sky dish back bracket which is designed for 1" 3/4 pole has been butchered over what looks like a 2" pole. plus that flimsy looking galvo band wont keep it all attached to the plastic gutter on the mobile in strong winds. Sky dishes fitted in coastel areas on mobiles rust away in no time there is some guy down here fitting dishes like that on mobile homes and then plastering the dishes with thick agricultural/industrial grease to try and prevent rust.
