Opinion on M.E.A.T. and Doria fuel pumps

I am looking to replace the fuel pump on my SAAB 9-5. I can get a M.E.A.T and Doria fuel feed unit for around £86 from UK, and genuine Saab for £140.

Does anyone have experience with M&D pumps, are they reliable, or would I be better off sticking with Genuine?

I've one in mine for the past 2 months, all going well apart from the fact you can hear it running but otherwise it's fine.

Meat&Doria parts are very good quality and usually expensive.

Aftermarket parts like air flow meters, map sensors, egr valves lambda sensors etc are better avoided in my opinion. I make an exception for Meat&Doria which I have always found to be good quality and reliable.

    Isn't a lot of M&D stuff reboxed top-end brands?

I bought and fitted 2 meat +doria o2 sensors last year, one for a corsa and the other to a yaris. And when I opened the boxes they were both bosch parts, which I thought was odd, but didn't complain. And they worked and are still working.
