Kona Minute short-tailed cargo bike, perfect for hauling week worth of groceries or long, loaded touring (we've done both!). Large frame, but just about for me (6'2) - should suit someone shorter better, perhaps after shortening the stem (130mm currently)

    Upgrades from the stock model:

    1. XT hydro brake front - 160mm rotor
    2. Deore LX brake back (not sure if it needs bleeding, new pads installed) - 180mm rotor
    3. 9 speed Deore LX STI shifters
    4. Deore rear mech
    5. Ursus Jumbo super-solid double kickstand (folding narrow) - can take a lot, including a kicking&screaming kid on the back!
    6. Schwalbe Marathon Mondial 47mm tyres - very sturdy and resistant touring rubbers, plenty mileage left (15-20k?)

    Optionally:

    1. Mount for an Hamax old rack-mounted child seat, to replace the wooden deck (free)
    2. Brooks B68 saddle (+50e)

Frame and wheels in excellent functional condition, but some paint chips and worn area under the panniers - does not compromise the frame structurally as this part of tubing is only used to support the lower part of panniers.

Panniers - seen better days. They are a little torn in a few places, but will work well for a long time, as the luggage weight is carried by nylon webbing and I have replaced the mounting system (two weak hooks) with webbing straps rated 80kg per pannier. The damage was caused by me not closing he webbing correctly once or twice...

Front brake great, rear was quite weak when I replaced pads recently, but seems to be better now. May require bleeding, or not.

    Asking price: 350e.
