So I'm going to sow a new lawn, about half an acre. I've sprayed the whole area which was just long grass and weeds. I sprayed it once last year and again 2 weeks ago with roundup. I'm hiring a 3 ton digger in a few weeks to level off the area. Should I rotivate it before or after the leveling and how do I get rid of all…

I'm hiring a 3 ton digger in a few weeks to level off the area. Should I rotivate it before or after the leveling and how do I get rid of all the dead grass etc on the surface now? Will the totivator just turn over the soil and bury the dead grass etc.
