Missing a BVD sample return

Basically The text messages from the relevant labs confirms negative samples ifor all calves this year but just noticed that there is no mention of one calf.

I am pretty meticulous in doing the sampling and sending in so fairly sure it's not an oversight. The calf is registered and I have got the card back.

Only noticed this evening and on a work conference all day tomorrow so won't get time to ring them so just wondering if this has happened to anyone and how did it pan out.

No experience of this exactly, however there was a calf tagged and registered and the bvd sample in a second fridge (not the main fridge) which we forgot to post and the department text about no bvd result being registered.
On that basis you should hear if the sample hasn't been tested for some reason.

I've checked the fridge about 15 times to make it's not hidden behind something- no joy however ☹️☹️☹️

Don't know if it's relevant but last year I sent off a batch of samples and a few days later got a neg result text, but for only half the samples.

When I rang to query I was told there was not enough room on the trays that day for my last few samples and the remainder were left waiting for enough samples to come in to fill the trays, result took another day or two.

Rang enfer. There are over 20 lots of samples that haven't arrived to them. I actually handed mine to the postman. They dont know where they are. I wonder how long would you wait before ordering replacement test tags ?
