    Hi,

i opened a few ports on a vodafone huawei hg658c(i think thats the model) router.
After opening the ports everything works perfect except one for one thing, I can no longer access the router webgui from the LAN.
i tired over wifi and over a physical connection.

    here is what i did.
    1. i added the sever to the dmz
    2. added rules for the port forwarding.
    3. i added an ACL for wan access for ftp(did this as a test and couldn't remove it cuz i lost access to the routers gui)

everything works perfect i can access the server remotely etc.

    thanks for any help

Did you forward 80/443? Also the DMZ is redundant and potentially dangerous.

The internal ports I forwarded were 80, 22 and 21. But I used different external ports for all above the 1024 range

Also what do u mean that the DMZ is dangerous
