Anyone watch the Mrs Brown chat show tonight?
On the mammy of the week segment, I was shocked to see people laughing at the daughter's story of her mother throwing a microwave and a knife at her father.

Am I the only one shocked that people were laughing at this? What are your thoughts?

I dont think you should look to Mrs Brown's Boys as a social commentary.

I think you lost your sense of humour somewhere.

Her mother did not throw a microwave at her father.

And obviously you have no problem with cruelty to animals.

You should all realise that the woman in the audience was describing an ACTUAL event?

No I'm also shocked people still laugh at this idiot week on week for lowest common denominator innuendo ;)

    Did you witness it yourself.

You shouldn't believe everything people say on the telly particularly light entertainment chat shows or even Mrs Brown's chat show.

You're right, the welfare of a hamster is more worthy of consideration than an evil member of the human patriarchy.

Go back to your gender studies coursework and leave the adults in peace, muppet.

    This seems an adult response.

Excellent point. Your maturity is second to none. What else do adults who treat Mrs. Browns Boy as a reputable news source get up to on Saturday nights?

It was a butter knife going through plaster board

Well, between polishing my collection of vintage scalelectrix and perusing my leather-bound copy of on the nature of things by Lucretius, I like to devote a spare moment here and there to educating gobdaws.

Would you be so cavalier had the roles been reversed? Had the auld lad flung back that knife at his histrionic **** of a wife would you have the same attitude?

The above does not make any sense but I suspect that you meant "human matriarchy".

No, I meant PATRIARCHY. I was addressing your lack of concern for the Father.

Back to your Quorn and ALDI noodles.

We've got a wee one that can tell the difference between real weetabix and the knockoffs so no way she'd be doing Koka knockoffs.
