I'm meeting my parents in Geneva in Dec and we are spending a few days around the lake and then heading up to Chamonix for 2 nights. I'm meeting them on a Wed, so thinking I could head off beforehand for a few days to somewhere else. Although it's December I'm not too fussed about heading to Xmas markets as I've been to quite a few. I've been to a lot of the major places (see below) so looking for somewhere I haven't been. Somewhere that has either a direct rail or flight to Geneva as well.

    Places i have been already:
    France
    - Paris
    - Strasbourg
    - Annecy
    - Lyon

    Belguim
    - Brussels
    - Brugges
    - Ghent

    Germany
    - Munich
    - Frankfurt
    - Nuremburg
    - Wurzberg
    - Bamberg
    - Rothenburg od de Tauber
    - Cologne
    - Hamburg

    Austria
    - Vienna
    - Salzburg
    - Innsbruck

    Switzerland
    - Zermatt
    - Wengen
    - St Mortiz
    - Lucern

    Czech Republic
    - Prague
    - Cesky Krumlov

    Hungary
    - Budapest

    Italy
    - Sicily
    - Rome
    - Florence
    - Venice
    - Pisa

    Denmark
    - Copenhagen

    Norway
    - Oslo
    - Bergen & Fjords

    Spain
    - Barcelona
    - Madrid

    Portgual
    - Lisbon

So any ideas on where I could go for 3 - 4 days would be great :D

I'd always thought of there as more of summer destination but I'll do some research, thanks :)
