Informants name on birthcert

I am pretty sure i found this out before but I can not remember. On birth certs there is an informants name. On mine it is Ann Courtney(possibly) and a stamp saying occupier National maternity hospital. Anyone know who she was?

I would Imagine that she was the Matron or Assistant Matron who was in charge of hospital administration or paperwork.
