GRPAI National Competition on 6th May 2017 at Hilltop Shooting Club

    The Gallery Rifle & Pistol Association of Ireland will hold a National Open competition on Saturday 6th May 2017 at Hilltop Shooting Club, Co. Wicklow.
    The following disciplines will be available:

    • 1020 - Gallery Rifle - SB & CF
    • Timed & Precision 1 - Gallery Rifle & Pistol - SB & CF
    • Multi Target - Gallery Rifle & Pistol - SB & CF
    • 25m Precision - Gallery Rifle & Pistol - SB & CF
    • GP40 - Pistol SB

    Entry Fees: €10 for the first discipline and €5 for subsequent disciplines to a maximum of €40 per person. No re-shoots.

    Full Time Students, OAP’s and Unemployed a maximum fee of €30 per person will apply, ID required

    The competition begins at 10.00 with registration available from 9.30.

    All GRPAI competitions are open competitions. A licence will be required for any firearm brought to the event and each shooter must have own insurance.

    Draft results will be published within 24 hours and medals will be available for collection at subsequent competitions.

    Medals from prior competitions can be collected at this event.

    We look forward to seeing you on Saturday the 6th May for a great day of competitive shooting and a bit of fun.

    Lunch will be available to purchase at the range.

    Beginners are welcome and please make yourself known at registration or to any of our Range Officers and assistance will be provided.

    Our friends in the NRBAI will also be holding a Benchrest competition at Hilltop on the same day and we encourage any Gallery Rifle shooters who would like to try their hand at Benchrest shooting to discuss same with the NRBAI on the day who will assist with loan of equipment etc. Likewise to Benchrest shooters, please let us know if you would like to try Gallery Rifle or Pistol shooting and we will be happy to assist.

    Cold day's shooting at the GRPAI comp. but got all my shots off. Great turn out and as said above no politics or sh!te talk.
    Looking forward now too the 2 competitions on the 13th at HH and MNSCI.
    Good practice sessions for the upcoming Phoenix International in the UK over the May bank holiday weekend.
