Looking for some opinions on what electricians think would be an acceptable level of pay.If also getting company van and fuel card.

Can vary depending on the industry (domestic / commercial / industrial / pharmaceuticals) and the type of work (emergency call out / construction / specialist / maintenance).

It would be a bit of everything no emergency call out work though.just wondering when there is loads of work out there is it crazy to work for below the rate.job near home and no major travel involved is the plus point

Only you can answer that Question in this instance

Obviously working close to home has a value

personally I would see the van as an extra rather than something making up a shortfall

you need to decide what value you put on your trade and weight up your options
I wouldnt work for a base of less than €45k but I am based in Dublin where there are lots of options to exceed that figure

    This may interest you:

I would have expected a higher salary to be honest. I would expect a pension and other benifits in addition to that.

they even show how unrealistic it is by declaring its based on 4 salaries between €28,849 - €71,517
