Hi I have a 2'0 tdi skoda octaiva 2011 I took it to pilson skoda told me I need a new trottle housein. That cost 600e I spoke to my friend who is a mechanic and said just clean it so I did and it was filthy It worked for a while and now I have eml light on and glow plug light on and has gone limp any advice would be great…

glow plug would not be related to the throttle, any issue with the communication / position of the throttle vs what the computer is expecting with cause the EML / Limp, so it could be wiring but is most likely be as the dealer said as you have already tried cleaning.
