Just a quick query. For those of you who've been obligated to partake in the Jobpath scheme, how long after your 12 months of being on Jobseeker's were you contacted by them?

I only ask as I was hoping to avail of a C.E. job, but if I understand correctly I won't be able to if Jobpath contact me in the meantime.

Thanks. I'm of the understanding that, given I've been on Jobseeker's Allowance, I'm more likely to be contacted sooner?

I would say to go and talk to the case officer in your area asap about doing the CE scheme.
If you get referred for it, you will have an excuse if you get the JobPath letter :D

I've asked her to confirm my eligibility for it. I think my 12 months will be up on May 10th, so I can't apply for anything now.
My fear is that Jobpath will contact me before then. :o

Jobpath can contact you before the 12 months are up.

An application for ce won't stop it, only a job offer from ce.

I would encourage you to get in touch with the ce scheme directly to let them know you're interested and the date you should be eligible, some will take you with only an informal interview depending on the position. You will still need to be referred by your case officer but it may speed up the process.

Finished a three year CE scheme in Jan. During which I wasn't unemployed as per the live register ( to hide the true unemployment rate ).
So my claim in Jan was a new JB claim based on A8 contributions from 2015.
