When will redundancy be paid

    Hi all.
    Company I work for has recently gone into involuntary liquidation
    Does anyone know how long it will take for payment to come through. It will be coming from the government fund.
    Sure could do with it.

    I was made redundant about 4 1/2 years ago, company could not afford the payment so it came from the Government fund, quite quickly iirc, about 3 weeks.

    So update. Still waiting on payment. Welfare won’t issue funds until they get a p45 and liquidator won’t issue p45 until payment is made. Welfare say they have no power over liquidator surely this can’t be correct. It’s been a year now lots of people involved.

    What the liquidator is doing is illegal. Go to the citizens advice they ll set you right. How are you getting welfare or another job without a p45 though?
