    www.autoeurope.ie
    www.carhire3000.com

I've rented from all of them at Dublin Airport and they are fine.

These days I use sixt as I get a discount via work :)

If it's a one day rental, try and find one who guarantees a car at the terminal and a drop off at the terminal. Often this is g'teed for loyalty club. Take my an extra 30-45 minutes at each end down at the adjacent depot would be. Lot for a single day rental.

Renting from the airport terminal is fine, but also handy from the long term car park. The shuttle buses are every few minutes.

    Thanks guys.

I'll be flying in about 9am and back out about 7pm. So looking to rent from say 9.30 to about 5ish. Should be cheap enough I'd imagine, so will go for full insurance protection. Anything to watch out for.

There seems to be a lot of companies trading in the Airport, any that should be avoided.

Terminal pickup and drop off would be handy I guess.

Anyone give me a recommendation for low cost rental on a 12/05 from the Airport. Pickup about 9.30am, drop off about 5.00pm. Size not important as it will only be myself and only doing a few kms. Full protection a must.

I find happycar.de to be cheapest but it is in German.
It is usually cheaper than the other sites I try including some of the ones mentioned here.
Book now as 10 days from rental date is optimal for low prices with all the providers.
You should get that for 20 euro including all insurance and happycar regularly offer discounts vouchers for bookings in the future.

Last piece of advice: you do not want a Micra, you want an Up/Mii/Citigo but they'll try to give you a Micra which is horrible.

Cheers. 20 euro is a great price for fully protected. I don't have enough German to make a booking. So would prefer an English speaking site. I guess going through 3rd party sites will give the best value?
