    Hi all,

Have a 2002 Yaris at the minute and thinking of getting something more modern.

21 year old male so don't want to be going high on the engine. Insurance won't like that.

Live in Countryside but will be commuting to College 5 days a week. About 100km round trip each day. Most of it is motorway

    Budget would be 7k max.

Was looking at the 1.4 diesel fiestas but open to all suggestions.

Toyota Corolla hatchback 1.4 diesel or Kia Ceed/Hyundai i30 1.6 diesel.

My wife has a Kia Cee'd in 1.6 diesel. It's a nice car to drive and the engine is nice and nippy. If you want something a little sportier looking they do a procee'd model which is a 3 door instead.
