Hello all, new build with 150 cavity. Using full fill insulation ending flush with both blocks at window/door detail. My question is when the windows go in, the window will be 70 mm thick. Leaves 80mm between frame and block with insulation showing butting up to internal block. How are people covering up this in order to seal with airtight tape and also in order to plaster. Any comments, welcome😊

A thermal lining board, to the reveal/head, is probably your best bet.

Whats the DPC detail for doors and windows?

Hi Docarch, What exactly is a thermal board? Is it cosyboard(plasterboard with insulation stuck on back? Thanks

Calahonda52 The DPC detail is standard DPC lining down to the cills and dropping down from between lintels.

    thanks for replies guys.
