    Hi,

Anyone know of someone in the Naas/Sallins/Maynooth area to do a service on the above? Obviously dont want to go to a main dealer.
    Thanks.

If it is just an oil service VW are not bad at around €150, includes mini valet and 1 years recovery. Obviously if something bigger Indy is best.

Needs a good service. Brake pads etc.

I have used SMC car sales for some servicing and bits and pieces before. Thought they were very reasonable.
I have friends that swear by Pat Fahey Motors, never used them myself though.

I have traveled from Naas to Abbeyleix before to George Dalton. Would do it again if time allowed. One of the best garages I have come across.

Ryan's in Clane. Always get my car sorted by him.

I'd also echo the above, even just get a quote from a main dealer.

Even a full service from VW (oil, air, fuel and pollen) is €260 and you get a full valet, complimentary replacement car and 12 months premium AA cover which is nice.

You're not a million miles from FK in Lucan.

Although your out of warranty, if you keep the main dealer service record, you have a better chance of getting a goodwill contribution towards any big repairs needed in the near future. I got goodwill covering half the cost of gearbox/ clutch work on a Skoda 18 months out of warranty as I had a full service history

I always find it amusing how far some on here will drive to get their car serviced.
