    Hi All,

Thought posters with an interest from a Clare CoCo perspective would be interested to know that the council have adopted the new contribution charges for 2017-2023

    http://www.clarecoco.ie/planning/news/notice-of-the-making-of-the-clare-county-council-general-development-contribution-scheme-2017-2023.html

Quite a significant rise if you are planning on building outside a settlement (village). (approx 250%).

I myself will now be facing a contribution charge of 6,800Eur instead of 2700Eur as per the old regime.

Would be interested in hearing if anyone else going to be caught with a new charge also - they talk about it being easier/affordable to build - you must be joking!!

Do you mean EFT? If so, we are paying this way.

Just in case anyone is wondering, we rang them today and we're able to pay over the phone.
