    I'm a newbie when it comes to keeping my own accounts, I registered as self employed in 2016, i work part time and study full time in UCD.
    Part of my student grant application requires Trading profit and loss account;
    Capital Account;Balance Sheet; and
    Adjusted Profit Computation.
    I am not operating a business, I am a self-employed agri worker/engineer.
    I have my income, expense etc on a spreadsheet for 2016, I earnt less than €7,000 so wasnt liable for USC, income tax PRSI etc.
    How can I get proof of "Revenues Indicitive calculation" if i had no preliminary tax to pay being my first year of self-employment and my tax returns arent due till 2018 ?

    Has anyone got a template for P&L accounts, we cover them in college but for businesses, not individuals ?

    Many thanks, Thomas
