've built a playhouse in the garden, most of the exterior is treated posts and treated shiplap but there is some untreated planed wood on the exterior. I'm looking for a cheap way to seal it against decay.

    http://www.lidl.ie/en/Offers.htm?action=showDetail&id=54703

I'm wondering if this stuff would do the job?

Also, any idea if you can paint over these types of products, no detail on the website.

This is a lidl brand name so cant find anything about the quality of it. However if it does what it says then yes it will do the job.
