I'm now down to under two hours battery life when working on it in the field... anyone got theirs replaced and if so where?

Battery is glued in, so afaik the whole top case assembly (keyboard, trackpad, etc) has to be replaced. I don't know what the Irish pricing is, but Apple or an AASP (Compub, Typtec, Mactivate) will probably do it for about 200. I wouldn't trust a third party with it.

Apple have a price list for the UK - which says ?199, so I'd guess €200-€250: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/mac-notebooks/repair/service/pricing
