Looking at going to Croatia for a break maybe 5/6 days. Flights always seem expensive to Dubrovnik, is there any good time to get decent enough price flights? I'd love to get going before October/November

Don't think so if you're going to fly into Dubrovnik, you'd get better value into other spots, split, pulua etc. I think you'll probably have to bite the bullet on flights if dub is where you want to go.....any particular reason?

Split is a lovely place -very close to Zadar airport served by RyanAir (with cheap flights) with buses running frequently enough.

Unless Dubrovnik is a must for you (still within a reach of buses or renting a car an option, maybe?)
