Hi, so went and bought replacement rope for the stove door today. Said glass fiber on the shelf but noticed now on the receipt it says 'heavy asbestos rope'. Is it still safe to used asbestos rope for the stove door? Thought most asbestos products were banned. Stove door isn't exactly a sealed location either with it being…

Is it still safe to used asbestos rope for the stove door? Thought most asbestos products were banned. Stove door isn't exactly a sealed location either with it being opened closed quite often.
