Hypnosis for pain relief???

Does anyone have experience of a themselves or a loved one finding relief from chronic pain through hypnotherapy? My mother has desperately debilitating pain from damaged nerves around her spine and doctors say they are out of options. Any advice for anywhere in ireland would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

A start before handing over money to somebody could be go to Youtube! There's loads of brill Videos on Youtube for Mindfulness and Meditation and Hypnosis. It might give an idea of what it's like and what it's all about.

Actually was just thinking too, in terms of finding out about Hypnosis, you might be better off asking in the County Forum of wherever you live / or where you would be interested in going? You might get some answers there from folk who have gone to Hypnotists in that area perhaps..
