I'd recommend an excellent cattery in athenry, have used it a few times for my two cats and they're always happy there. She only takes cats though. Are you looking for someone to take both cats and dogs?

I used a place in ardrahan once for the cats, a little rough and ready but they were safe. I specified that they were to be fed separately and my food only. One came back well fed and the other thin, both had very smelly stools and their was left over food in the cage that wasn't mine. He takes dogs too, no experience of that side.

Hi Zapperzy thanks for replying.. Which is the one in Athenry then if you dont mind... I was hoping to have the two of them together as it is the first time for the dog, ideally i was hoping to get a pet sitter in house but no luck yet on that one...

I wonder if the place you are talking about one i emailed already, great on liner response from them saying they dont take cats anymore, that was it..

Cuddles cattery in athenry, highly recommend her, great set up and muriel is lovely.

Galway kennels in ardrahan? I wouldn't be surprised because their cat set up wasn't great. Struck me as being more geared towards dogs.

Sorry don't know anything about pet sitters.
