Bilt hamber dynax ub for the underbody and dynax s50 for the cavities. Make sure any rust is fully removed and the area fully protected before application. Bilt hamber deox gel rust remover and bilt hamber electrox paint could be used to achieve this. If you need a tougher finish(in high impact areas) bilt hamber epoxy mastic can be used instead of electrox.

Alternatively dinitrol protucts are also very good. They do excellent diy kits in aerosol form that are designed to protect the whole vehicle and conviently can provide diagrams(for most makes of cars) on where to apply the products.

I've found the Bilt Hamber waxes to be very good myself. Much better than say Waxoyl.

I personally don't like underseal as a general rule(outside of within wheel arches that can take a pounding). My reasoning being that it can cover up all sorts of nasties creeping along underneath the clean looking top coating. I've seen one too many a car that had undersealing done only to have bad corrosion spring up beneath it. I like to see and treat these areas before they get away from me.

So I do what JB said above. Mechanically remove/reduce visible rust as much as possible, treat with a good rust converter(these only convert the top very thin layer of rust, hence remove as much visible rust as possible), spray/paint on high zinc content primer, followed by chassis/body colour, then a covering of anti rust wax. Oh and fill all cavities with as much wax so it runs out. Keep an annual eye on said wax covering. Summer is ideal for this as reapplication is easier because the wax flows more freely(the BH stuff isn't nearly as affected by temperature though, unlike Waxoyl).

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.
