How else would you describe it? Maybe if this guy had a bit of cop on this wouldn't have happened.

My sympathies are with the emergency services that have to deal with the aftermath

Probably this mans passion to jump off stuff you can hardly call him stupid. That's what he liked to do. He hardly went out with no experience with the intention to die.

Some people might like to go for a walk. Sure you could get knocked down or fall over yourself and die while walking.

Yes you are correct. Walking is directly comparable to base jumping.

Wingsuit jumping is stupid and treacherous enough, but from the Cliffs of Moher? Insanity.

That said, the tone of the OP is in poor taste.

    You can die from both

The real problem in this country and on this website in general is when the OP decides to post a link and nothing else. No info, no thoughts of their own. This needs to stop, it's wrong god dammit!

    Of course you can.

I'd bet my house that more people have died out walking than base jumping.

Feckin' eejit. And then risking the lives of rescue crews to retrieve him.

If you want to tempt death by jumping off stuff, do it somewhere they can drive to scrape up your remains. Don't risk other people's lives as well as your own.

Agreed, sad that some had to put their lives at risk to rescue them.

Mod-No news dumps. Also very insensitive title changed.
