Mackintosh build from an old MBP

Hey everyone, Just wondering, my GPU failed not so long back on my MBP. Just wondering would their be any way to resurrect it, apart from a new logic board. It just seems a waste, screen, ram, ssd all fine. Could a mackintosh be build from scratch with some mac components?

You should change the title, as it's not really a hackintosh, which can't be discussed here.
