    Hi

I have a limited company and currently drive commercial focus van.

I am currently looking at purchasing 5 seater commercial jeep (Landcruiser/Discovery) and then converting to 2 seater.

Will this allow me to treat BIK as if vehicle is a van?

What is needed to get conversion signed off

    Thanks

You will need a self declaration, engineers report, test48, weigh docket, VLC and Insurance cert.
Photos of before and after clearly showing the reg front and rear.

If you're in dublin I can give you a name in the Motor tax office to talk to. Just PM me.

Just buy a 2 seater commercial, the 5 seater crew cabs are making bigger money. You would devalue the 5 seater doing that. I can't see your logic in it.

No, must be a van from the factory for BIK.
Conversion from passenger to commercial are fine for motor tax, they don't cut the mustard for BIK.
