Today while driving home about a 5 minute drive, a warning popped up and the engine fan came on, the engine felt like it was about to cut out but thecar still got home ok. Turned off the ignition but the engine fan stayed on for 5 minutes.

The engine idle is very rough/chugging, there is no temperature warnings and it's petrol.

I'm getting it put on a diagnostics machine tomorrow, just wondering if anyone has ever experienced this before and if anyone has any idea what it could be?

Its impossible to say without error codes.

What warning popped up? What colour light? What did the light looks like?

Hopefully will have a printout of the errors later today.

Only error showing in the car display was "Engine fault repair needed", engine light is now on. It start out of the blue in the middle of driving the car.

Turns out the error code was P1337, replaced one of the the ignition coils, also replaced all spark plugs. All back to normal now.
