    is there any way i could get a meter to tell me much electrity i am using WITHOUT switching to prepay?

    Hi Bob Z,

    Thank you for getting in touch.

    Pay As You Go is currently the only way to monitor your electricity usage (this specific type of PAYG meter is called Smarter PAYG).

    The Electric Ireland app My Energy Pal also provides a good gauge (it involves inputting the details of each appliance and how frequently it is used).
