Hi all, just wondering has anybody out there got pictures of how to put the cavity trays on the outer leaf blocks. These sound good in theory but the blocklayers I know have never used them to date any help would be appreciated.

That's them fitted. Must make sure u have a starter and finishing tray.
Get the chippie to set up a guide and build to that. If u have full fill insulation ull have to get 60mm insulation for behind them.
Make sure the back of them is clean, poor water down the back of them.

Thanks for that, I saw that pic already on line but as with all things that are in cartoon style they don't always look that good in tea life!!! Do you know if the block sits into the cavity tray or what is the story?

There are block trays or brick trays both the same principle only the block ones are bigger and take a full block and brick ones are brick sizes.
    Is it block or brick?
We normally use brick trays even on block and use concrete bricks to build them in.
