Anyone bought these from eBay or elsewhere? I priced genuine flaps for my 2010 Mazda 6 at the local dealership and they're a ridiculous price so looking for alternatives. How mouldable are the universal flaps? Can they be cut to shape? Do they look 'wrong' once fitted?

    Every bumper is different.
No such thing as a universal moulded mud flap.

It's moulded to the bumper shape.

If you want something universal, you'll be looking at rubber flaps. Think kappa..

    Or. You could get this....

You might get them off a scrapper?

I seem to remember there are two types, painted and unpainted. If your car has the side skirts and rear bumper from the sport they say they won't fit but they do.

eBay is probably your best bet. There's a crowd on eBay called AS Cars, they specialise in Mazda's and might have some.

Yeah mine is the Takuya model which is the same as the Sport model with sides skirts and deeper rear bumper.

I've only seen the painted versions but as my car is black then unpainted black flaps would do fine. I'll keep an eye on eBay.
