Trying to figure out delay time JAF528/TB528

    Hello,

I'm trying to claim under EU flight compensation for flights delay over 3 hours.

I was recently delayed on TUI Belguim flight TB528 on 24th-25th March 2017 between ZNZ to BRU via HRG (just for refuel but long delayed for what seemed like more than 2 hours on tarmac).

The clocks went forward that night whilst we were in the air.

They have told me that the plane landed at 09:43 on 25th March and the scheduled arrival time was 07:20 however I am pretty sure that we didn't get off the aircraft until something like 10:35 or later as I had a connecting flight at 10:55 which I missed as a result. They have rejected my compensation claim as they use the 09:43 as the time it arrived. I was also totally knackered at the time.

It was a shocker of flight - very stressful from boarding due to total incompetence of ground staff and management in ZNZ with no computerized check in system and bizarre immigration exit stamp system made (practically half the plane wasn't informed by desk staff and were sent back on the foot of the stairs by immigration police) for a 45 min late take off. I was in the queue to check in for 2 full hours before the scheduled take off time of 20:55.

We then got caught on the ground in HRG for hours with a technical fault (false positive but resolved) and then were not allowed to leave by the tower for some reason. Very hot on the plane and very unpleasant.

When we finally got to BRU there was a very long delay in getting a bus for us so we were kept on the plane for what seemed like ages, there was nearly a passenger revolt at this point. Horrible flight.

I can't seem to get accurate disembarkation time/Blocks On time as it would help me in court, which I think I will have to go to seek redress for this. Is there any way to get this information? Also the clock change on the night is messing this up see below regarding the arrival time.

I've uploaded pics FlightAware and FlightRadar24

Also BOTH sites claim the scheduled arrival time is 06:20 CET and the flight arrived at 09:31 CET which conflicts with what TUI Belgium say.

    Tailsign is OO-TUK

    Thanks

some airlines will blame God, others will blame black magic, some will say the air wasn't right for a timely departure.. anything goes really. Very few airlines respect the EU261 regs right off the bat without giving you a good deal of excuses and lies first..

06:20 CET is 07:20 CEST - it was CEST when you landed. The flight duration given is impossibly short if it landed at 07:20 CET.

This should explain the hour anomaly and I suspect ends the chance of compensation.

Yes it seems I was incorrect. Horrible flight nonetheless.
