Amazon won't cancel my order

    Hi guys I canceled this TV a few hours after ordering when I found it cheaper in Ireland
    But Amazon have now sent me this email


    ""Unfortunately we weren't able to cancel the following item(s) from your order:

    LG 49UH610V 49 inch 4K Ultra HD Smart TV WebOS (2016 Model) - Black


    When you receive your order, you're welcome to refuse the package and it will be returned to us. If you are unable to refuse delivery, please visit our Online Returns Support Centre to create your personalised returns label so you can send this item back to us for a full refund:""

    Where do I stand here can I refuse delivery and that gets me refund. The thoughts of having to post it back if I accept it is crazy. Like I canceled it within an hour.
    Would it be worth my while to try to talk to customer service again??

    Thanks for any advice.

    Before for me the call cantre rang the delivery uk side. So try ringing again. Otherwise just don't accept the delivery and it will go back. A refund will take that bit longer though.

    Amazing how fast Amazon are to ship once you attempt to cancel a product. It usually takes them a week to prepare something until you go to cancel.....

    Just refuse delivery.

    It goes back with the courier and you get a refund, Might take a few days though usually up to 5 working days for it to go back in the bank.

    There's nothing else you can do.

    I got that message before, went onto chat and they did cancel it. I think they said it had gone to some depot in the UK, or was about to go, and from there it would go to Ireland.

    I also purchased the TV on the 16th and tried to cancel. I don't remember their customer service being this bad but just got an email back regarding cancellation and this was at the end.

    "For the inconvenience caused I have check a perfect pair of TV to go along with you shoes and enclosing a link for the same for your convenience."

    He followed it up with a link to my shopping cart. WTF! They still haven't done anything for me so you'll probably be waiting a while.

    I ordered something on Friday and cancelled it on Sunday since it wasn't dispatched and found it cheaper elsewhere, 15 mins later I get an email saying it can't be cancelled because it was dispatched. I know for certain the item wouldn't of been dispatched till Monday at the earliest since the delivery date given was 10 days away. So if you want something quick with free snail mail just go to try cancel it :pac:
